Close Encounter with a Rail

I had the most magical encounter with this juvenile Sora! They are usually ultra elusive birds (I think this is only the third Sora I have seen since 2015). I was lying on my belly on the mud and this guy just sauntered over as if it didn't even notice me. In fact, at one point it got so close my lens wouldn't focus! it was an amazing feeling to be in the presence of creatures that do their thing in happy oblivion.
