[Update] Shinhwa’s Hyesung found passed out in reportedly stolen vehicle, refused breathalyzer

In new levels of drunken mess, Shinhwa member Hyesung was recently found by police passed out in a reportedly stolen vehicle and then refused a breathalyzer test.

In the early hours of October 11, the Seoul Songpa Police Station received a report that a vehicle was parked in the middle of a road. The police soon arrived on the scene and discovered a man sleeping inside the vehicle, and requested that the man cooperate for a breathalyzer text. However, the man refused, and he was arrested on October 11 at 1:40 AM KST. Once the man, whose identity was revealed as Shinhwa member Hyesung, was brought in, police further discovered that the vehicle he was in had been reported as stolen. The vehicle owner told the police, “I do not know this man,” when asked about their relationship to Hyesung.

Hyesung already had a DUI back in 2007.

I need follow-up stories on this. Like did he steal the car himself? How did he do that while drunk? Did he get in an abandoned car for a nap? What is happening?

Honestly, it feels like tradition or something that if you’re a fan of somebody in the industry for long enough that they’ll eventually get a DUI. Wild how frequent it is.

Apparently the valet gave him the wrong car and he just drove off.
